BIG LOTS! AND BRENT SHERMAN TEXAS PREVIEW

Spartanburg, SC (April 10, 2007) After a solid performance at Nashville Superspeedway that propelled Sherman back to the top-20 in points, the Big Lots! race team is looking to keep the positive momentum going this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

“Texas Motor Speedway is a fun place to race. It is a 1.5-mile oval that allows for passing and great racing.” Sherman continued, “We are ready to get back to the track and keep moving our team forward.”

In addition to Big Lots! sponsoring Sherman, the McGill Motorsports team welcomes aboard three associate sponsors for the race. The Courtyard Arlington by The Ballpark will provide the team’s hotel accommodations, while Cattleman’s Steakhouse, found at the Stockyards in Fort Worth, will provide the team with some of the best food around. Crusader Staffing will also climb onboard the No. 36 machine.

The No. 36 Big Lots! Chevrolet hits Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday, April 12th at 12:00 PM (ET) for the weekends first practice session, while the final practice is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM (ET). Qualifying is also on Thursday and begins at 7:05 PM (ET).

Television coverage for the O’Reilly 300 begins at 2:30 PM (ET) Saturday, April 14th on ESPN2, with the green flag scheduled to drop at 3:00 PM (ET). Live radio coverage can be heard on PRN.
